The quality that I admire most about Jack Johnson is that he was a man; a free thinking non conformist. He did not allow society to define him. His heart and fists empowered him to be the man he wanted to be. He was the Ali of his time-only much more so. For those who haven’t seen it, I recommend the Ken Burns Documentary: Unforgivable Blackness.

Brother X, there is no way that Jack Johnson was the Ali of his time. Muhammad Ali, was for black people all over the earth. Jack Johnson did not do half of what Ali did. You should go and study the history of our brother the great Muhammad Ali. Who stood up to this government and injustice to the darker people all over the planet.
